  10. Does anyone else have problems with GNUemacs 18.59 (probably any version)
  11. crashing with a stack overflow whenever it writes a relatively small file
  12. to an AFS formatted disk?

  14. I've yet to determine the exact pattern, but I seem to have much more luck
  15. when I add 10K or 20K of junk to a file before I first create the file in
  16. GNUemacs. The problem definitely has nothing to do with the stack, as I've
  17. given GNUemacs an 8MB (yes, megabyte) stack and it still does the same
  18. thing. I usually run with a 50K stack. It's a bug I've never had with FFS,
  19. and no other software seems to have this problem. That's why I think it's
  20. some interaction with AFS (15.9) and GNUemacs.

  22. Suggestions? Confirmation that I'm not insane? Any ideas?
