- Does anyone else have problems with GNUemacs 18.59 (probably any version)
- crashing with a stack overflow whenever it writes a relatively small file
- to an AFS formatted disk?
-
- I've yet to determine the exact pattern, but I seem to have much more luck
- when I add 10K or 20K of junk to a file before I first create the file in
- GNUemacs. The problem definitely has nothing to do with the stack, as I've
- given GNUemacs an 8MB (yes, megabyte) stack and it still does the same
- thing. I usually run with a 50K stack. It's a bug I've never had with FFS,
- and no other software seems to have this problem. That's why I think it's
- some interaction with AFS (15.9) and GNUemacs.
-
- Suggestions? Confirmation that I'm not insane? Any ideas?
-
- Everything else about AFS I absolutely love. Help me get totally happy,
- please!?!
